Symptoms that could be showing you have rosacea

Rosacea is a type of red rash that commonly appears on the centre of the face.  You may not notice that you have rosacea as it has been known to be mistaken as ‘flushing’ in the first instance. This is where your face goes slightly red, often when you are hot or embarrassed.  Rosacea is where the redness remains, and small spots or bumps begin to develop in these areas, and don’t seem to fade away.

Whilst the causes of rosacea aren’t specifically known, it is important to take care of your skin –making sure you don’t use any harsh chemicals on your face, or anything perfumed which could irritate the redness.

So how would you know if you have rosacea? Here are some common symptoms of rosacea that have been found:

-          Sensitive skin on the face
-          Burning or stinging feeling if anything touches your face
-          Constant flushing and redness
-          Red bumps appearing on any part of the face

If you are familiar with any of these symptoms, you should see a doctor in the first instance to confirm if it is rosacea.  There are no real diagnosis methods to see if you have the condition, but it can be often recognised by the above symptoms.  A skin practitioner may be another alternative to seeing a doctor; as they will be able to provide suitable products which won’t irritate your rosacea condition further, specifically using chemicals that are gentle on your skin.

The redness that rosacea causes can sometimes lead to further problems in a person’s self-esteem and confidence.  Sufferers of rosacea have previously stated they become anxious of their appearance, and some individuals have experienced bouts of depression. If you have rosacea, you should try not to worry, as it can make the condition worse. A skin practitioner can work with you to help control the symptoms of rosacea, which may eventually show an improvement, helping you to feel better about your appearance.

The type of treatment offered by a skin practitioner will depend on how severe the condition of rosacea is, and the skin type of the individual.  Long term treatments are usually better than no treatment at all.

Beau Synergy have qualified skin practitioners who can help to treat the symptoms of rosacea, providing suitable treatments tailored for each individual.

The Easy Way to Weight Loss with Fat Reduction Treatments

Dieting is an ugly word to many people.  It is one of those concepts that sounds like a good idea at the time but often on the embarkation of the said project becomes a living nightmare for the individual and anyone close to them.

It’s not that everyone is bad at dieting, just that you sometimes need a little extra push to give you the willpower required to stick to a healthy eating regime.

One such motivator could be fat reduction treatments.  These treatments shouldn’t be seen as an alternative to a healthy diet and exercise but can provide great support and motivation to those who are struggling to see the effects of limiting fat and calories and joining the gym.

Watch this video for more information on laser lipo fat reduction treatments:

What do we mean by fat reduction treatments?
There are lots of different treatments on the market but one of the most popular, and the one you have most likely heard of is laser lipo.  This is a non-surgical laser fat reduction treatment which targets problem areas, such as the tummy, buttocks, hips or thighs, to liquefy fat deposits and encourage them to drain away via the body’s natural lymphatic drainage system.

Do fat removal treatments hurt?
No, you should not feel any pain and the treatment is completely safe but if you are worried about side effects or how you might feel during treatment it’s best to speak with your therapist.

Who are fat reduction treatments suitable for?
There are a wide range of people who will be suitable for laser lipo and other treatments to reduce fat.  Generally speaking you will need to be:
  • Aged 18 years or older
  • In good general health
  • Committed to an ongoing health and diet regime
  • Fat must be in specific body areas
These treatments are suitable for both men and women.

Can I just go back to eating chips and cakes after treatment?
Absolutely not, no!  One of the most important things to remember is that you have to be committed to losing weight, as these treatments are not a miracle cure. If you simply use the treatment as a one-off procedure and then lapse back into your unhealthy eating and minimal exercise habits then chances are the fat will return before long.  These treatments are much more effective when combined with your current diet and exercise regime to shift those stubborn areas of fat that no amount of sit-ups and salads can remove.

What outcome can I look forward to?
Laser Lipo and other similar fat removal techniques are designed to improve the appearance by giving you a more contoured shape.  You will visibly see an alteration in the shape of your body in the problem area and you may also notice that clothes feel looser.  In order that these effects are prolonged, however, you will need to eat healthily and take regular exercise.
